Mechanisms to turn data into useful knowledge that supports project decision-making and to ensure that all project staff understand their role in project Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) is enshrined in Lusubilo internal policies and procedures on effective MEAL. Project staff monitor progress against appropriate benchmarks and use adaptive management methods to facilitate achievement of the objectives thereby contributing to improved wellbeing of OVC and vulnerable adults in Karonga Diocese.

The project promotes an approach to accountability and learning that will meet project needs, while recognizing the central importance of dialogue with OVCs, vulnerable households and communities in which beneficiary feedback through Participatory Planning Monitoring and Evaluation (PPM&E) on project interventions informs project activities.
